What this is

We are a weekly satire magazine about data, AI, and governance. Office bulletin board energy, newsroom timing, real‑world fluency. We make you laugh. Sometimes we tuck a practical nudge in the margins.

Why this exists
Because it is easier to fix a bad habit after you have laughed at it. Because teams remember a sharp joke longer than a 40‑page policy. Because better practice hides well inside a good bit.

What you get here
Each volume ships a cover story, a few Honest Memos from the news, a Dear Data advice column, a rotating Bulletin Board, and four Insults of the Day.

You’ll also find Classroom Cuts for teachers and students, school-safe satire with learning prompts alongside Steward Stories, short takes on governance characters you may recognize from your own org. Absurd on the surface, occasionally practical underneath.

Our promise
We roast practices, not people. We punch up. On very rare occasions we punch down, but only at spreadsheets, brittle dashboards, and the concept of “misc.” Guidance shows up when it helps. Not every piece comes with a checklist.

How we handle real names
If we reference a real company, the piece is labeled parody and anchored to public reporting. No logos. No impersonation. Sources are linked on the article page.

How we think about data
Start with purpose, not hoarding. Name things once and in human words. Let every important number be traceable without a scavenger hunt. Grant access for a reason, not out of convenience. Respect people and their privacy. Prefer reality checked at runtime over posters that age on the wall. When outcomes can be measured, we measure them. When they cannot, we measure laughs and move on.
